what's in a name?

when i signed up for this blog
and it told me i had to pick a name and stick with it, i actually freaked out a little bit. thus, it got me thinking about shakespeare. you know that part in romeo and juliet when they discover that they're actually supposed to hate eachother when they had just fallen head over heals in love...

yupp, im one of those theater nerds that can cite lines from plays and musicals…

okay, don’t click away from this blog thinking “why did i waste my time on some artsy blog where the girl is just going to talk about dead guys who wrote deep stuff?” because thats not what i want this blog to be.

the real reasons why i made this blog:

because i want somebody to listen. yeah sure, i have great friends to talk to, but to be honest, i can’t expect them to “always be there for me”.

because i want the feeling that someone whos possibly halfway across the country (or world) might be reading this.

because i think it’d be cool to learn about other peoples lives and experiences without necessarilly becoming friends with them.

because at the end of the day, we’re all technically alone, and that kind of scares me.

i don’t really know if i’m making sense, but that’s me being honest.

so what’s really in a name?

don’t ask me, ask the deep dead guy.
